Generate content with the Writing Assistant

Use the Writing Assistant to draft email, SMS, and push notification content directly inside Marketing Suite. Describe what you want to say, and the Writing Assistant writes a first draft for you.

Use the Writing Assistant in an automation step

To use the Writing Assistant on a Send email, Send SMS, or Send push step:

  1. Open the App Drawer then click View All > Marketing Suite > Automations.
    ​

  2. Create or edit an automation.
    ​

  3. Open the step you want to edit.
    ​

  4. Click Writing Assistant.

    • If this is your first time opening the Writing Assistant, click Get Started on the onboarding screen. The next time you open it, the content generation screen opens directly.
      ​

    • If you close the Writing Assistant without clicking Insert, your editor content stays exactly as it was.
      ​

  5. Under Improve your content, do one of the following:

    • Click Run next to a preset, such as Make it shorter or Create rebook urgency, to apply that change to your existing content.
      ​

    • To generate new content instead, click Help me write this content:

      • a. Under How direct should this email be?, select an option: Just Nurture, Soft Nudge, Direct Ask, or Hard Sell.
        ​

      • b. In Additional context, describe anything else that should shape the email.
        ​

      • c. Click Generate email.
        ​

  6. Review the generated content. To refine or regenerate it, follow the prompts in the Writing Assistant. Before sending, review the generated content for accuracy and to make sure it matches your business's voice.

  7. When you're happy with the result, click Insert.

Use the Writing Assistant in a campaign

To use the Writing Assistant while sending a campaign:

  1. Open the App Drawer then click View All > Marketing Suite > Campaigns.

  2. Create or edit a campaign.
    ​

  3. In the content editor, click Writing Assistant.

    • If this is your first time opening the Writing Assistant, click Get Started on the onboarding screen. The next time you open it, the content generation screen opens directly.
      ​

    • If you close the Writing Assistant without clicking Insert, your editor content stays exactly as it was.
      ​

  4. In the Tell ISAAC what to write panel, under What kind of email is this?, select an option, such as Promote A Class or Announce Something New.
    ​

  5. Fill in any additional fields that appear based on your selection. For example, selecting Promote A Class shows fields to choose the class type and a specific class.
    ​

  6. In Additional context, describe anything else that should shape the email.
    ​

  7. Click Generate email.
    ​

  8. Review the generated content. To refine or regenerate it, follow the prompts in the Writing Assistant. Before sending, review the generated content for accuracy and to make sure it matches your business's voice.

  9. When you're happy with the result, click Insert.
