You can connect Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Lead Ads to WellnessLiving through Zapier so that new leads submitted through your Facebook and Instagram lead forms are automatically created as lead profiles in your WellnessLiving business. This eliminates manual data entry and ensures leads are followed up on quickly.
This article describes how to set up the integration using Zapier's pre-built Facebook Lead Ads + WellnessLiving workflow.
Before you begin
Complete the following steps before you set up the integration:
Connect a Zapier account to WellnessLiving. For more information, see Connect a Zapier account.
Subscribe to a paid Zapier plan. Facebook Lead Ads is a premium app on Zapier and isn't available on the free plan. For more information, see Plans & Pricing on the Zapier website.
Confirm your Facebook permissions. You must have admin access to the Facebook Page that runs the lead ads and access to the associated Meta Business account.
Grant CRM access to Zapier in Facebook. In your Facebook Page settings, go to Integrations > Lead Access and grant CRM access to Zapier. If your Page uses a customized Lead Access configuration, the Page owner or a Business Manager admin must add Zapier.
Publish at least one lead form in Meta Ads Manager. The Zap is configured against a specific lead form, so the form must already exist before you build the Zap.
The Configure Zapier settings staff role permission is required to manage Zapier in WellnessLiving. For more information, see Staff role permissions.
Setting up the Zap
The Zap consists of two parts: a trigger that runs when a new lead is submitted to a Facebook or Instagram lead form, and an action that creates a lead profile in WellnessLiving.
Step 1: Set up the trigger
Sign in to your Zapier account.
Click + Create > Zaps.
In the Trigger event field, select New Lead and click Continue.
In the Account field, sign in to and select the Facebook account that has access to your lead ads. Click Continue.
In the Page field, select the Facebook Page that runs your lead ads.
In the Form field, select the lead form that the Zap will monitor.
Click Continue, then click Continue with selected record.
Step 2: Set up the action
In the action step, search for and select WellnessLiving.
In the Action event field, select Create Lead Profile and click Continue.
In the Account field, select your connected WellnessLiving account. Click Continue.
In the Business Name field, select the WellnessLiving business that leads will be created in. Click Continue.
Click Test step to send a sample lead to WellnessLiving and confirm that the lead profile is created in your business.
Click Publish to turn the Zap on.
Tagging leads by source
To distinguish Facebook and Instagram leads in your WellnessLiving reporting, set the Lead Source field in the Create Lead Profile action to a value that has been configured in your WellnessLiving Lead Source list. To capture the surface separately, create one Zap per surface, using a different lead form for Facebook ads and Instagram ads, and set the Lead Source field accordingly.
Capturing leads from multiple lead forms
The Facebook Lead Ads trigger monitors a single lead form per Zap. To capture leads from multiple forms, choose one of the following approaches:
Create a separate Zap for each lead form. This is the simplest approach and lets you map fields differently for each form.
Use Paths by Zapier in a single Zap. This routes leads from different forms to different actions within one Zap. For more information, see Paths by Zapier on the Zapier website.
Maintaining the integration
Reconnect after permission changes. If you change permissions on the Facebook Page, the Ad account, or the Lead Access configuration, reconnect your Facebook Lead Ads account in Zapier for the Zap to continue triggering.
Verify lead delivery. Periodically compare the lead count in Meta Business Suite Leads Center with the lead count in WellnessLiving to confirm that all leads are being captured.
Monitor Zap history. In your Zapier account, click Zap History to review successful runs and any errors.
